What To Expect
Depart from Seomyeon Station in Busan and travel to the Geoje island.
First, visit Maemiseong, a wall built single-handedly by a local resident to protect his crops after losing his farmland due to Typhoon Maemi, which struck Korea in 2003.
Savor local specialties such as kalguksu with baemal (a type of sea snail) and Tot kimbap. Enjoy the flavors and aromas of the sea.
As a peninsula surrounded by seas on three sides, South Korea has many tidal flats, especially on the south coasts. Here, you can experience the unique activity of digging for clams.
Geoje Island is also home to "Windy Hill," a scenic spot named for its windy conditions. Enjoy a walk with a backdrop of beautiful windmills.
Return to Busan. The tour ends at Seomyeon Station in Busan.
