What To Expect
Be swept away by the tastes and sights of the Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek wine region. Sample local wines and also paired with artisanal cheeses or seasonal produce.
Indulge with Fairview's Farmer Tasting as you sample a selection of fine wines paired to perfection with a spread of cheeses.
Continue on to the quaint town of Franschhoek to uncover the beauty of this region aboard a vintage style railway tram while sipping on a glass of world-renowned vino from the surrounding vineyards. Hop on the Franschhoek Wine Tram for a short one-way journey through the rolling vineyards of the valley to reach Rickety Bridge winery for a standard wine tasting of 4 of their wines.
On the way back to Cape Town you'll stop at one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms, Muratie Winery near Stellenbosch. Taste their port-style wines to end the day with this sweet tasting experience before a lazy late afternoon drive back towards Cape Town.
